The
configuration settings for the server-side of the
PxPlus Client/Server ODBC allow you to specify a TCP/IP
port number, set up and manage the data files access
permissions, and establish the server activation. When the PxPlus ODBC
Client/Server is installed on a Windows system, the
server component is configured using the PxPlus IO
Server Settings interface. Under UNIX/Linux, the
server is configured using command line arguments and a
configuration text file.
