ProvideX and PxPlus runs much like any other application on your computer system. Once installed it can usually be started by simply running one of the following programs:

In some cases it may be necessary to set up some external system parameters or to specify where the PVX command is found. This information is provided in the 'Installation Manual' provided with the version of ProvideX you will be running. On Windows the installer will have installed a shortcut to ProvideX (PxPlus) in your START/Programs menu.

For the purposes of this manual we have assumed that ProvideX or PxPlus has been properly installed onto your computer system and all parameters have been established as indicated in the Installation Manual which was included with your software.

Once the the software was been started, the system should respond with the copyright notice and serial number.

Should you receive the following message:

Error #100 - No driver for terminal type or library missing

your environment has not been properly setup. Please review the product installation instructions to determine the problem.
