PxPlus Releases

PxPlus 2022 Update 1 is an update release that includes the enhancements below and a number of small fixes that have been developed since the PxPlus 2022 (version 19.00) release.

Enhancements

Language Enhancements

• New OnDoubleClick property for Multi-lines to generate a CTL event when the control is double clicked
• Support added to the FIB and FIN functions to return key information on an external database table

Webster+

• New *Webster/Desktop utility that displays Webster+ pages resembling a Windows application for seamless integration into an existing Windows desktop package. This feature includes:
• Logon Security with a Desktop Password Duration option to define how long a desktop password remains active
• A *Webdesk utility that displays any non-Webster+ URL in a Windows-like application container
• View, edit, filter and generate Reports in the Webster+ Inspector
• New Webster+ Hdrclass short code option that defines the class for the header row in a [list] or [grid] short code

File Maintenance Generator

The File Maintenance Generator has been enhanced to provide the following new capabilities:

• A Header Class can be defined to control the appearance of a Grid header row
• An Initialization Program field has been added to specify the interface program and method to use when adding a Grid on HTML pages
• Webster+ short code options can be added to the HTML Event when adding a standard Button on HTML pages
• A Priority can be assigned to HTML Calculations to control the order in which calculations are done
• Input Field Prompts can be defined as a Fixed value, an Expression or a Message Library Reference
• Symbols, internal PxPlus bitmaps or external images can be included before the panel title on HTML pages
• Internal PxPlus bitmaps or external images can be selected when adding a Symbol to Buttons and Additional Buttons on HTML pages
• Top and Bottom Positions are available when adding symbols, internal PxPlus bitmaps or external images to Buttons and Additional Buttons

Enhanced IDE, Nomads, iNomads and Toolkit

• Enhanced the Web IDE to include:
• Library Object Selection
• Query Definition
• Menu Definition
• File Maintenance Generator
